Please be aware that the holes for the candles and the candle holders themselves are wooden. I suggest wrapping the base of your candle in tin foil to protect the candle holder from the flame when the candle gets low.
SAMPLE / One of the first ones made. This sample is taller than the ones that went into production. One of the arms is not quite straight, and the lap joint was cut too wide so 4mm wide fillers have been added in so the two pieces sit tightly together - this is only noticeable up close and does not affect the overall look of the holder.
This Candleholder has been made using Tōtara and Kauri.
135mm x 300mm – Approx.
Hole for the candle is 22mm in diameter x 20mm deep
Goods are made from recycled and reclaimed New Zealand native timber.
Any impurities, cracks, or nail holes in the wood is a sign of it's age, and it's previous use. These marks are a thing of beauty, and have been preserved to celebrate and honour it's history.
Please keep out of direct sunlight as this may crack the timber further, or create new cracks.
This product has been finished with a non-toxic and eco friendly tung oil, followed by a NZ made beeswax.
Each item is individually hand made, and is completely unique in form and grain. The piece you buy is one of a kind, therefore your purchase will vary slightly from the product image.
