Refined over nearly a decade of making, the Flip is my most versatile and most-used spatula.
Designed to slide cleanly under food, lift confidently, and hold its shape over years of daily use. The thin leading edge makes it ideal for eggs, fish, pancakes and delicate foods, while the broader body gives enough strength for heavier lifting.
Each Square Flip is hand-shaped from solid reclaimed native Mataī, then finished by hand using NZ made beeswax for durability and comfort.

To care for your handmade spatula hand wash in warm soapy water, do not put your spatula in the dishwasher or leave soaking in water. Keep out of direct sunlight.
All wooden Kitchen Utensils are finished with food safe New Zealand made beeswax. If you would like to refinish your Spatula you can use beeswax, or Coconut Oil. Using a cloth massage in the oil, let the utensil sit (this can be anywhere from 5minutes to overnight), then buff off with a dry cloth.
Each item is individually hand made, and is completely unique in form and grain. The piece you buy is one of a kind, therefore your purchase will vary slightly from the product image.
