Learn how to make your own Utensil from scratch.

In this weekend class I will teach you how to make your own Utensil from scratch. We will all start with the same rough sawn piece of timber, using the machinery at The Warren, I will show you how to square off and clean up your piece of timber using a jointer / thicknesser. Once you have a design (or designs, you can make multiple Utensils), you will cut these out using the bandsaw, and from there we will use hand tools to shape, carve to finish. I will also talk you through the properties of wood to help you design and carve more effectively.
